Despite the fact that I'm totaly lame for being on the internet right now,
Costa Rica is totaly awesoem. :)

Yesterday we walked around some city near the airport while we waited for our friend, and went to a couple bars. All the guys seem to want to hit on you, which is a bit odd. But we got free drinks out of it, heh. There were also mango trees with a ton of mangos falling everywhere, and we even got a little stray dog to follow us around for a while.

We got to the hotel last night after a 2 and a half hour car ride, and we're probably going to go on a tour through the rainforest today. :))
It's raining out, unfortunatley, but it's super warm out. Last night there were hours and hours of lightning, which was really cool.

Somehow I've managed to find myself in an amazing house in LA.
I can't say much more than that. There are palm trees and cacti everywhere,
and big deserted desert hills.

The fools with me need to wake up so we can get the day started.

So I leave for LA on Saturday.
And then for Costa Rica on Tuesday.
I am nervous, but very excited.
The fact that I'm about to leave is hitting me just now.
I can't believe this is happening, and it feels a little surreal.
All I can say is:
I hope everything goes smoothley,
I hope I don't get lost,
I hope I don't get raped and killed
and I hope that it is everything I expect it to be (and more)

My days are truning into drawn out stupors of haze. The sun will sink below the sky and the stars will come out from hiding, while I sit and realize that this is what my night has come to.

With evenings so empty, it’s nice that I can find a small pocket of happiness sharing time with others. But in the end, it really turns out that none of us accomplished anything, and we’ll wake up in the morning with a dirty face and tired eyes.
